Joyce Thompson

Graduating from Columbus Beauty College, Joyce has been in the industry since 1980.

She’s always loved working with hair and watching other stylists in action. She felt the beauty industry would be fun and that helping people look as beautiful as they possibly can would be fulfilling. As a Salon Leader and Stylist, she strives to be positive, friendly, happy, and the best person she can be.

Growing up in a small town near Columbus, NE, she’s always wanted to be a stylist, and loves that her dream of being a salon owner became a reality. Joyce is very family oriented, and has incorporated the same family values into her salon. When Joyce is not behind the chair, she is active in her church, and spending time with her amazing family.

She wants to help grow each team member and help them reach their full potential as a stylist. The salon is called Design Team for a reason, and that is because team work is a main focus that the salon encourages. Joyce knows that her clients feel listened to, cared for, and helped. She’s very passionate about making her customers look their very best by either styling their hair, makeup or facials.
